FRUIT BODY: Up to 1cm in height this frequent species is found in large numbers on its chosen substrate.  Each individual fruit body is yellowish in colour becoming more washed out with age and eventually almost clear.  The surface is smooth, wrinkled lengthways and the general shape variable but primarily spatula-like.  GILLS/PORES: N/A. FLESH: Yellow and gelatinous. SPORES: Spores sausage shaped, 1-3 septa, smooth. HABITAT: On dead and decaying wood. SEASON: Common.  Throughout the year. EDIBILITY: Inedible.
